The Orange-led Africa Coast to Europe cable from Penmarch in Brittany down the whole west coast to South Africa, landing in eighteen places including several countries it connected for the first time — Mauritania, the Gambia, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Liberia, São Tomé; twenty owners, in service since 2012, built by ASN.
