Microsoft Fairwater (Mount Pleasant)
Microsoft’s Fairwater AI datacenter in Racine County, Wisconsin, built for frontier-model training on hundreds of thousands of NVIDIA GPUs, which became fully operational in June 2026. Microsoft gave Phase 1 a maximum electricity need of 400 MW; a second datacenter of similar size is under construction.
