Lyse

Stavanger energy and telecom group wholly owned by 15 municipalities. Its telecom arm, Lyse Tele, sells fibre broadband, TV and internet as Altibox — through a 29-partner network of regional fibre companies, several of them Lyse subsidiaries — and mobile as ice, Norway’s third network. Telekom turned over NOK 12.4bn in 2025 with 1.05m mobile customers and 939,089 Altibox-partnership customers; the group is also Norway’s fourth-largest hydropower producer and runs the Sør-Rogaland grid.
